Mar Georgantas of Newport Beach has found a way to replace the fake gas logs in your fireplace with a fully functional, safe, and energy efficient product.
FIRE on ICE ™ is a specially formulated and patented design of tempered glass that you place in your fireplace instead of gas logs. You may ask why one would wish to put broken glass in one’s fireplace?
Well fist of all, the glass is not sharp nor ever degraded in color. FIRE on ICE ™ reflects the flame and creates a spectacular color and generates unsurpassed heat compared to gas logs.
To create this effect, every thing is first cleaned out of your existing fireplace - the logs, the and irons, including the soot and the dirt. The screens and front glass ca be removed since there is no risk of an ash nor burning or popping cinders.

Mark Georgantas came up with the idea years go when he and some friends threw their drink glasses in to a fireplace after a toast. "I noticed a way the flame caused the glass to sparkle and create a unique, decorative ambiance," ways

In subsequent experiments Mark Georgantas modified a glass float formulation to resist an soot or carbon build-up from natural gas or even a propane flame. Therefore, FIRE on ICE ™ will never melt, darken nor degraded in color and last virtually forever with out ANY maintenance to one’s fireplace.
